At Comfort Keepers of Milwaukee, WI we want to do more to help your loved one than just provide reliable at home senior care services. An important part of senior independence is making sure your loved one’s cabinets are stocked with healthy and nutritious meals. That’s why we’ve started the Feed Seniors Now program, a food drive dedicated to improving the health and happiness of the senior community through fighting hunger and malnutrition.
As your local at home senior care provider, we aim to be your number one resource for improved senior living. Our local office holds food drives yearly, primarily between the months of September-November. If you're wondering what you can donate, we have a list of suggested food donations.
Feed Seniors Now 2016
This year our food drive will be held October 1 - November 30!
We at Comfort Keepers of Milwaukee, WI have engaged Community Projects for Seniors (CPS), a non-profit agency, as our partner to help with Collection and Distribution of the food. CPS has volunteers who pick-up the food from the noted businesses below once the barrels get full and provide us with a record of the donations associated with each location. At the end of the collection period, CPS will divide the food into nutritious grocery bags and deliver the food to over 200 low income Senior housing facilities.
