Comfort Keepers of Milwaukee, WI attended the University of Wisconsin – Waukesha Job & Internship Fair at 1500 N University Dr, Waukesha, on October 14th, 2015 to find new senior caregivers to join our ever-growing team of in Waukesha and beyond. Interested students could learn all about our in home care services and job opportunities we offer. Those interested in caregiving, nursing, or other health related fields can gain a lot of practical, hands-on experience through a part-time position with Comfort Keepers.
At the job fair, we answered questions about how we help seniors and adults with disabilities every day. Students of any age are encouraged to apply for a job. All potential Comfort Keepers must have their own vehicle, a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance. Our hourly positions are extremely flexible. We will plan your hours around your existing class schedule, making sure you never miss class or an opportunity to help the elderly.

A Comfort Keeper is genuinely concerned with the well-being of others, especially the elderly and disabled adults. Any caregiver can do laundry, cook a meal and sweep the floor. If you’ve never provided in home care or feel you might be unprepared for the job, don’t worry. Before meeting a client, all our senior caregivers undergo a thorough training and orientation program to ensure they are fully ready to meet the needs of our clients. You will learn how to follow a care plan and assist clients in their day-to-day activities, providing personalized, interactive care.
